Empowering the Next Generation of Engineering Educators
The Olin College Teaching Fellows Fund will support the creation of a teaching practicum program designed specifically for aspiring undergraduate educators. Structured as a three-year pilot, the initiative begins with a dedicated year of program development, followed by the recruitment and launch of a small cohort of Teaching Fellows. See the article.
 
KSE Hosts "Design Review II: What a Week and a Half Has Done"

Graduates and their families are invited to join President Lee, trustees, faculty and staff for this reception. There will be brief remarks, food and drinks. 

 

Fri., May 15: 2025 Commencement 

2:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. / Great Lawn tent 

Olin College staff, faculty and students are invited to join alumni, trustees, friends and guests as we celebrate the Class of 2026 and their families. The ceremony's featured speaker is Reshma Saujani, a 2026 TIME Woman of the Year and leading activist, founder, podcast host and author. A reception will follow the ceremony.

Rapid technological change, rising political tensions, ongoing conflicts and escalating environmental pressures are reshaping the most consequential debates worldwide. Fri., May 8: SCOPE Summit & Expo
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. / Across Campus
The day will include a Student Project Expo, OCO performance, project team displays, a community lunch and the SCOPE Summit in the afternoon. The Senior Capstone Program in Engineering (SCOPE) invites you to join us as eight teams present the results of their year-long projects with sponsors from industry, academia, a government agency and a private foundation. Click here for more information about this year's projects and to register

Access the Community Events Calendar
Olin students, faculty and staff are encouraged to add the Olin Events Calendar to their Outlook. Please note that only events open to a large portion of the Olin community will be added to the Calendar. See the instructions below for how to add the calendar and submit an event here
 
If you have not added the calendar to your Outlook account, you can do so by following these steps:
  • Open Outlook and go to the "Calendar tab."
  • In the top toolbar, click "Add Calendar."
  • Select "From Address Book."
  • In the search field, type "Olin Events Calendar."
  • Click "OK" and allow the calendar to sync.
