Olin HydroFleet Wins Farm Robotics Challenge Drone Award
The Olin College Robotics Lab took home the 2026 Excellence in Drone Applications Award in the fourth annual Farm Robotics Challenge awards ceremony on May 21 held at Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale, California. Read the story.

 

Olin Students Learn to Take Action in New “Local Democracy” Course
“Local Democracy,” a new Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences elective taught by Erhardt Graeff, moves civic engagement out of the abstract and into the real world. Read thex story.

 

Faculty and staff are invited to join this year's Walking Challenge! When you participate in the five-week challenge and track 35,000 steps per week (or an average of 5,000 steps per day), you’re eligible for a weekly drawing. Other activities can also be converted into steps. Olin competes against the other edHEALTH institutions, and the school with the highest average steps wins an on-site team celebration. See the attached PDF for more information.
