First-Year Oliner Joey Heo ’30 Builds EDITH

Before arriving at Olin, Joey built EDITH, an experimental electric vehicle that stabilizes itself in flight using SpaceX-style thrust vector control. Now he's refining simulation and avionics for EDITH II, bringing what he learns in the classroom back into the project. Watch the video.

As part of the annual SiBBs (Students Intentionally Building Bridges) peer advising program, Oliners gathered on the Oval with homemade signs to welcome the Class of 2030. The program pairs first-year and returning students to help build connections across class years. See the highlights.
