First MechProto Projects of the Spring Semester

Last Friday, Georgia Van de Zande's MechProto students demoed their first projects of the spring semester, presenting a collection of boxes that were designed and constructed with a variety of bolts and fasteners. The project featured above is by Alana MacKay-Kao, a 4+1 student from Wellesley. The box was inspired by a dragon and designed to hold dice for playing D&D. It rests balanced in the open or closed position, and it used about half of the 24"x18" plywood sheet the students had available for the project. See more on our Instagram.
